Fast Lane sign up to Social Value

Sep 01, 2022

Premier Partnership are delighted to announce that Fast Lane are the first supplier to sign up to our social value policy and have agreed to a 2% contribution on all bookings made with the Metropolitan Police moving forwards, ensuring that public sector funds are utilised and given back to community projects.

Fast Lane is the world’s leading provider of multi-vendor IT and communications training courses, delivering tailor-made and industry accredited learning programmes to individuals and businesses across the globe. Working in conjunction with a multitude of prestigious technology corporations, they provide up-to-date learning solutions that can help IT professionals gain a deep understanding of a range of emerging technologies.

The initiative is run through Givewith, a Social Impact Network that features hundreds of carefully-vetted, high-impact, non-profits and social enterprises across a diverse range of issue areas to support companies social responsibility goals with charities Groundwork and Redthread benefitting from this initiative.

As one of our suppliers who contribute to social value, Fast Lane will receive some excellent benefits including being listed on our website as a contributor to social value via our contract with the Metropolitan Police, access to new opportunities with our clients over the next three years and inclusion in the direct reports and MI information shared with the client.

More and more, organisations are being asked for examples of how social value is being supported, this is a great opportunity for Fast Lane to use this as part of their own social value incentive and will allow them to share the results and impact this contribution has with their own clients.

Damien Ballard, Business Development Manager at Fast Lane said: “Fast Lane in collaboration with Premier Partnership are excited to promote and support an agenda around social value . In what has been and continues to be a turbulent and challenging time for many people and organisations, it feels right to partner providing opportunities for people to reskill and/or upskill.”

“We are very proud of our relationship with Premier Partnership and the work we are involved in to help modernise policing and support public bodies. By supporting these charities, we are helping people access different possibilities and regenerate communities. It’s a very important initiative and Fast Lane will support for as long as it can.”

If any of our other providers would like to be involved in our social value policy, please do not hesitate to contact suppliers@premier-partnership.co.uk to discuss further.
