To ensure plans are of high quality using the principles of SMART, are strengths based and inclusive in language and are written with parents, children and young people at the centre, reflecting the voice of the child.
By the end of the course participants will have:
Identified what a good plan looks like
Explored the principles of SMART planning and how these are reflected in good quality plans
Written a plan based on assessment
Evaluated plans that are child and family centred and reflect the voice of the child
Considered barriers and challenges and possible solutions to writing Smarter plans
