Premier Secures MET Contract Extension
Premier Partnership is proud to announce the successful renewal of our Managed Learning Service contract with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) for a further three years with a potential to extend to four.
This continued partnership reaffirms our commitment to supporting the MPS in delivering high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective training solutions. Originally awarded to streamline the MPS’s external training provision, the contract was designed to improve value for money, increase transparency, and enhance control through a centrally managed learning and booking service.
Since the beginning of our partnership in 2013, Premier Partnership has worked closely with the MPS to provide a fully comprehensive, tailored training service. Over the past 12 years, we’ve built a strong and trusted relationship—delivering everything from everyday business training to large-scale, specialist programmes that align with the complex and evolving demands of modern policing.
Our collaborative work spans a wide and varied curriculum that addresses key organisational priorities such as Counter Terrorism, Cyber Crime and Digital Policing, Forensics, Firearms, Public Order, Aviation, Marine Policing, Royalty and Special Protection, HR and Training, Finance, Media and Communications, Resource Management, and Transport.
Drawing on extensive experience across the ‘blue light’ sector, Premier Partnership has developed a bespoke course catalogue designed specifically for police services. This comprehensive offering integrates specialist and generalist training solutions, connects MPS staff to leading suppliers, and is accessible on demand to support continuous learning. To help embed and promote these services across the organisation, we also deliver regular workshops and drop-in sessions.
As the MPS’s trusted delivery partner, we ensure that every supplier and associate we onboard meets the high standards required to operate within the policing environment. This rigorous quality assurance process directly supports the MPS’s Learning & Development Transformation Programme.
In addition, we’ve invested in a dedicated CRM system to effectively manage new training requests, evaluate value and outcomes, and support ongoing initiatives. Our Account Managers conduct regular reviews with the MPS to ensure that processes remain fit for purpose—continuously identifying opportunities to drive savings and deliver added value.
We are honoured to continue this important work and look forward to building on the success of our partnership. Over the next four years, Premier Partnership remains dedicated to enhancing the growth, development, and capability of the Metropolitan Police Service.
