Managing Mental Health Roundtable
On Tuesday 10th May, Premier Partnership hosted another free roundtable event for our clients, exploring the topic of mental health. During the session, a panel of speakers offered insight and solutions for organisations to consider on the subject.
The first panel member was Paul Cook, Head of Web and Design, Corporate Communications Branch of the HSE who gave us an insight into HSEs work on work related stress and supporting good mental health and their role in helping people with long term disabilities stay in work. He also covered the "Working Minds" initiative with some useful resources to help support mental health in the workplace.
We were also joined by Hannah Miller from Sidekick who gave us an holistic view of wellbeing - and the role this plays in reducing/managing stress and retaining and engaging staff. With £266 billion of turnover and lost productivity lost globally due to employee burnout, Hannah walked us through the six key factors of wellbeing and the strategies we can use to support wellbeing in the workplace.
We have made a recording of the session so you can revisit the topics and speakers in more depth as well as sharing with colleagues:
Finally, Premier Partnership's David Pearson gave some information about the learning and development opportunities here at Premier that we can offer clients on the subject of mental health.
