How can your organisation harness the power of Allyship?
Many organisations have equality and diversity policies in place but, in an ever-changing world, it is much more than that, Allyship is at the forefront of most people’s minds, and Premier Partnership have developed a suite of courses to deal with many aspects of Allyship and inclusion.
We view Allyship as a strategic mechanism used by individuals to promote equality in the workplace through supportive personal relationships and public acts of sponsorship and advocacy. We know that allies endeavor to drive systemic improvements to workplace policies, practices, and culture.
Running across four pillars, our mission is to actively SUPPORT peers, minority and marginalised groups, CHALLENGE the status quo and not to accept problematic BEHAVIOURS and ideologies that have been normalised by society.
Our key aim to create a safe and inclusive CULTURE through Allyship by raising awareness and challenging norms, and to that end, we have been working with our experienced partners to develop and create a suite of courses that can support organisations across this complex subject.
Courses in the programme currently being developed and delivered by experts in the respective fields include How to be an Active Ally, Menopause Awareness, Identifying and Challenging Bias, Impostor Syndrome, Race, Racism and Ethnicity Awareness, LGBTQ+ Awareness, Male Mental Health, Transgender Awareness, Women’s Allyship and Neurodiversity.
Organisations can choose the learning that suits them as a mix-and-match or modular option to focus on the key requirements within their own business areas, our courses are flexible, available as either face to face or virtual delivery.
“How to be an Active Ally”, is an ideal course to begin with, designed to provide delegates with a safe and encouraging space to explore active Allyship; to develop their skills and confidence in this field; and leave with a firm and clear personal action plan for their own active Allyship.
Finally, we will be holding a free roundtable event on the subject of Active Allyship in September - look out for further details closer to the time.
