Join Microsoft Teams Meeting

Find the Meeting Link

  • On the day of your course, open the course invite.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the email to find the joining link.
  • Click "Join the meeting now."

Using the Microsoft Teams App

  • If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed, the link will open the meeting directly in the app.
  • Test your camera and microphone settings before joining.
  • Click "Join now" to enter the meeting.

Joining with Meeting ID and Passcode

  • Open the Microsoft Teams app and click "Calendar."
  • Select "Join with an ID."
  • Copy and paste the meeting ID and passcode from the invite into the corresponding fields.
  • Click "Join meeting."

Using a Web Browser

  • If you don't have the Microsoft Teams app installed, you can join via your web browser.
  • Search for "Join Teams meeting" or go to www.microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/join-a-meeting.
  • Copy and paste the meeting ID and passcode into the corresponding fields and click "Join a meeting."
  • If a pop-up box appears asking to open the meeting in the Microsoft Teams app, you can choose "Open in the app" or "Cancel," and then click "Continue on this browser" to join the meeting.
