Course Aim:

To provide the necessary technical knowledge and skills in order for delegates to be able to implement the correct traffic management requirements to undertake moving and short duration minor works.

This training course is broken down into 4main sections:

Participants will cover areas of social and cultural isolation faced by young people who have been displaced from their country of birth and their families, whilst exploring the issues faced by carers and the young people as they approach adulthood.

Child Sexual Exploitation is a serious issue which impacts on hundreds of children who are in looked after care and many others at risk. Many children have been exposed to experiences and abuse which has a long lasting and traumatic impact and therefore need very individual and therapeutic support.

To provide participants with an understanding of their responsibilities within CDM 2015 and to introduce them to their legal duties under the CDM Regulations 2015 in order to undertake safe construction work.

Performing a COSHH Assessment and understanding the requirements of a COSHH Management System.

This course is aimed at those who are responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work.

To provide lifesaving information if someone has a cardiac arrest, allergic anaphylactic shock and awareness of treatment for a drug overdose.

This course focusses on the protected characteristic of disability. It provides a space where delegates can explore best practice in managing disabled people, and is designed and delivered by a former wheelchair-user. It can act as a stand-alone module or be combined with three related workshops to create a comprehensive programme on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

This course gives learners an awareness of the risks and control measures when using DSE.

This course provides delegates with an understanding of the principles, hazards and risks associated with the use of electricity in the workplace.

The majority of managers already understand the basics of managing diverse teams, but this course will give them space to understand and explore their own issues in relationship to the topic and to discuss a range of approaches to build on their practice. It will also act as a refresher in a topic that is continually evolving. It can act as a stand-alone module or be combined with three related workshops to create a comprehensive programme.

To provide essential information to fire wardens/marshal to carry out fire drills and fire evacuations safely.

This programme provides staff with an understanding the basic principles and procedures of being a Fire Warden/Marshal in order to maximise fire safety.

To provide staff with an understanding of the general principles of health and safety and their own responsibilities in the workplace. The course will provide delegates with specific content on common workplace hazards and measures to improve their own safety and the safety of others.

To raise awareness about health and safety in the workplace and engage staff in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities for health and safety at work.
