Presentation Skills for Senior Managers

Course Information

To support senior managers to enhance their competencies in the effective delivery of presentations to senior political leaders and chief officers.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

Gain and maintain rapport with the audience and hold their attention and interest throughout a presentation that is delivered in-person or virtually

Select essential content and timings, and set out the logical flow of information

Use audience interaction for maximum impact and the best audience experience

Help people to understand and remember key information

Deliver engaging presentations using in-person (face-to-face) or virtual platforms

Use notes, supporting aids and/or props effectively

Manage their audience and their questions

Undertake a practical exercise in delivering an effective solo presentation to a group utilising theories and models

Delivery Method: Face-to-Face / Virtual Classroom

Max delegates: 12

Duration: 3 sessions of 3 hours depending on numbers
