Working at Height Awareness (Half Day)

Overview

To provide delegates will the knowledge to work safely at height by understanding risk control principles and control measures that can be implemented in order to minimise risks when working at height.

Learning

• By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
• Identify work at height.
• Understand how to comply with the work at height regulations.
• Be aware of the hazards associated with working at height.
• Be aware of the workplace precautions for work at height.
• Use the hierarchy of controls to aid selection of most appropriate equipment and safest systems of work.
• Understand the need for correct inspection, use and maintenance of equipment.
• Understand the need for emergency procedures relevant to the work tasks.
