Overview
To equip participants with the confidence, tools, and techniques needed to plan, structure, design, and deliver clear, engaging, and impactful presentations in both face?to?face and virtual environments.
Learning
- By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
Explain what makes a presentation effective in both physical and virtual settings.
Plan and structure a presentation using a simple, repeatable model.
Use body language and presence (online and in?room) to engage an audience.
Build rapport and maintain attention using behavioural and technological tools.
Create visually appealing, audience?focused slides.
Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to generate content, structure notes, and rehearse delivery.
Deliver a short presentation and receive constructive feedback.
Apply techniques to handle nerves, questions, and technical challenges.
Assessment
Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course) Pre-work (Participates prepare a short 3?5-minute presentation using either:
