Overview

The purpose of this course is to increase knowledge and understanding of mental health and to increase your confidence to begin a conversation about mental health.

Learning

  • At the end of this session, you will be able to:
  • Define mental health and some mental health issues?
  • Understand factors that affect mental health?
  • Understand the importance of looking after your own mental health.
  • Consider the impact of stigma on mental health.
  • Feel more confident about starting mental health conversation?

Assessment

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
