To recognise the impact of fire, to understand Fire Risk Assessments and the need to have a proactive and positive approach to fire prevention for all staff who would carry out or review a Fire Risk Assessment.

By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- Recognise the importance of a Fire Risk Assessment.
List the principles of controlling the risks from fire.
Identify what is the meaning for PEEP.
Name what a hazard is.
Compose a detailed Fire Risk Assessment. .

Assessment:
– IOSH theory assessment with a maximum mark of 33 and pass mark of 25.
– IOSH practical assessment project to be completed on own site after the course with a maximum mark of 146 and pass mark of 88.
