How to be an Active Ally
Overview
To provide delegates with a safe and encouraging space to explore active allyship; to develop their skills and confidence in this field; and leave with a firm and clear personal action plan for their own active allyship.

- At the end of this one
- day workshop delegates will:
- Be able to explain what active allyship is.
- Understand the importance of active allyship to individuals and organisations.
- Confidently use the tools of active allyship: engagement, support, speaking up and appropriate action.
- Understand how they can work towards active allyship in their personal lives and in their work role.
- Take away an action plan for personal allyship and link it to their organisation’s approach to allyship.

Assessment
Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
