Health and Safety Awareness

Overview

To provide staff with an understanding of the general principles of health and safety and their own responsibilities in the workplace. The course will provide delegates with specific content on common workplace hazards and measures to improve their own safety and the safety of others.

Learning

• On completion of the course delegates will understand:
• Appreciate their legal, moral and financial responsibilities.
• Types of hazards.
• The nature of hazards associated with workplace activities.
• The control measures for a number of key hazards.
