LANTRA Highway Sector Scheme 12D – T1/M1 Face-to-Face / Virtual Classroom

Course Aim:

To provide delegates with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out temporary traffic management on motorways and high speed dual carriageways.

Learning Objectives:

On completion of this course learners will:

• Understand the principles of quality assurance
• Be aware of the training and assessment process to become a registered Temporary Traffic Management
  Operative
• Be aware of the relevant health and safety legislation and their responsibilities
• Be aware of safe working practises
• Be aware of reference documentation used within the temporary traffic management industry
• Be able to understand safe working methods that are used to install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment
• Be able to plan a Chapter 8 closure from a given datum

Important Information:

FULL AWARD ASSESSMENT Following completion of the 12D T1 training course the learner can obtain Moving Works Operative status (Award M1) by successfully passing an end of course multiple-choice question paper which carries a 75% pass mark.

Course Pre-Requisites:

Learners must have successfully completed the LANTRA Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course (TTMBC) before attending T1/M1 Training & Assessment.
