Communication Skills (Half Day)

Overview

To help delegates to understand the impact that individual communication styles have on other people and how improving these skills can make it easier to achieve the desired outcomes.

Learning

By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to understand:

• The importance of emotional intelligence in good communication.
• How we communicate.
• How to build and maintain rapport.
• The importance of effective listening and questioning skills.
• The importance of non verbal communication.
• How to deliver messages assertively.

Assessment

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)

Task should take around 15 minutes to complete
