To give delegates the tools to keep safe while carryout their duties.

Learning

  • Following the event Participants will be able to:
  • Demonstrate practical ways to prevent difficult situations from arising.
  • Demonstrate how to use the techniques to defuse difficult situations.
  • Demonstrate how to approach customers to maintain and restore calm to an inappropriate situation.
  • Demonstrate how to safely alert help and remove oneself from difficult situations.

Assessment

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
