Overview

This workshop is for anyone and everyone who has to attend an interview for a job either within their own organisation or outside it.

The workshop focuses on increasing personal confidence when attending interviews and giving participants the opportunity to practice being interviewed in a safe but realistic environment.

Learning

• At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:?
• List actions needed to prepare for an interview.
• Describe what a competency
• based interview is.
• Complete the checklist to assess your transferable skills.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to questioning techniques.
• Provide structured answers to specific competency
• based questions.
• Demonstrate positive body language and one’s areas of strengths.
• Practice, observe, give, and receive feedback on interview practice sessions.
• Identify what type of questions to ask in interviews.

Assessment

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
