Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Overview
This course aims to strengthen awareness of personal values, reduce bias, support fair decision-making, and empower participants to model and promote inclusive behaviours in the workplace and day to day life.
Learning
By the end of this workshop delegates will:
Demonstrate the difference between equality and diversity and how it adds value to the organisation.
Recognise the impact of DEI?positive and negative.
Reflect on personal values and lived experience.
Identify discriminatory behaviours and legal protections.
Identify organisational DEI barriers and plan solutions.
Create a personal DEI action plan.
Identify and signpost colleagues to support.
Assessment
Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
