Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) – Half Day
Overview
To introduce Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Cohesion and how it can affect you and your workplace (personally and operationally).
Learning
- At the end of this workshop delegates will:
- Demonstrate the difference between equality and diversity and how it adds value to the organisation.
- Explain the legal framework governing equality.
- Identify and explore key concepts such as discrimination, prejudice and stereotypical behaviour and understand the impact of discrimination on people’s lives and how this translates into the workplace.
- Identify individual responsibilities and their contribution towards promoting equality and diversity.

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course)
