Overview
To develop the skills needed by delegates to be assertive in their dealings with other people.
Learning
- At the end of this workshop delegates will be able to
- Describe the difference between passive, aggressive and assertive behaviour.
- Understand characteristics and benefits of assertive behaviour.
- Identify own behavioural style and its effect on others.
- Explore how to manage situations in an assertive way, particularly stressful situations.
- Understanding Transactional Analysis and how to avoid creating emotions in others.
- Understanding passive, aggressive and passive
- aggressive behaviour and how to cope and respond to each type of behaviour.
- Give effective feedback.
- Identify and practice the necessary skills related to workplace.
Assessment
