To provide delegates with a safe and encouraging space to explore active allyship; to develop their skills and confidence in this field.

Learning

    By the end of this half-day workshop delegates will:

    Be able to explain what Active Allyship is.

    Understand the importance of Active Allyship to individuals and organisations.

    Develop an awareness of the tools of Active Allyship: engagement, support, speaking up and appropriate action.

Assessment

Qualitative assessment by tutor (For example: observations or demonstrations throughout course) Pre-work: Research and bring together in one place the following:
– Your answers to reflective questions provided by trainer.
– Examples of your organisation?s engagement with Allyship.
