With increased use of AI across all business sectors, Premier Partnership conducted a review of their procedures and found that there was a lot of labour-intensive tasks being conducted across the business, tasks that were repetitive, time-consuming and, in many cases, could probably be done much more efficiently with the right use of AI.

After looking at a number of providers, we chose Peak Intelligence and their AI Bootcamp. What appealed to us was that it wasn’t just about showing people what AI could do. It was about getting people to actually use it and understand how it could make a difference to their day-to-day work.

We started with a Basecamp session for the whole company. This gave everyone, regardless of their previous experience with AI, the opportunity to understand the basics and have a go themselves. It was great to see people who had never really used AI before quickly finding ways it could help them, both at work and outside of work.

From there, we selected a group of “AI Champions” from across the business to take part in the more advanced six-week programme and push the AI forward across the business. Mike Guarde took us through everything from prompt engineering and AI assistants to automation and multi-step workflows. The Summit session at the end was a real highlight, as we were able to bring everything together and start turning ideas into applications that could actually be used within the business.

The results have been better than we expected.

Our AI Champions have created a wide range of tools, apps and agents, and more importantly, they’ve continued to develop ideas since the training finished. They’re now working in small groups across different areas of the business, looking at how AI can reduce administration, support our learners, improve our marketing and help us with tenders and business development.

Perhaps the biggest success has been the enthusiasm it has created. AI has genuinely become a passion for a number of people within the business. Instead of waiting for someone to tell them where AI might be useful, they’re actively looking for opportunities to improve the way we work.

For us, that’s the real value of the programme. It’s not simply about saving a few minutes here and there. It’s about giving our people the tools and confidence to challenge the way we do things and find better ways of working. If we can give our Operations team time back from repetitive administration, that time can be spent where it matters most — looking after our customers and supporting our learners.

We’ve also been very conscious that moving quickly with AI doesn’t mean taking shortcuts. Data security and governance have been a key part of the process, and we’re putting clear steps in place to make sure anything we develop can be safely integrated into our wider systems.

Peak Intelligence has given us a practical starting point and, perhaps most importantly, helped us move from simply being interested in AI to actually doing something with it.

Premier Partnership have no hesitation in recommending the AI Bootcamp to any organisation that wants to get its people engaged with AI and, more importantly, start finding practical ways to use it within the business.
