Authorised Firearms Officer D13 First Aid (Standard)

This two day course is suitable for all existing or trainee Authorised Firearms Officers [AFO] and is designed to balance the demands of tactics and medicine.

  • dealing with a casualty who is convulsing/having a seizure
  • performing basic life support on an adult, child or infant
  • management of a choking adult, child or infant

  • management of a casualty who is bleeding
  • management of a casualty with chest, head or spinal injury
  • management of a casualty with chest pain or fainted
  • management of a casualty with a skeletal injury
